More leaders join BPF

More 50 supporters from  AIUDF and Sanmilito Janagostiya Aikhya Mancha joined in ruling BPF ahead few days of assembly election today at a party meeting at Chitila bazar complex in Kokrajhar.  Kokrajhar west MLA Pradip Kumar Brahma, former BTC MCLA Afjal Haque Sarkar welcome and felicitated newly join members from Teteliguri area of Kokrajhar west constituency. 

Brahma said that his party was stressing to gain more development and social uplift among society in the region. He said that this time his party is winning in large numbers of seats in the election and government formation is sure in the state with alliance BJP and AGP. He has appealed all sections of communities to vote for the BPF candidates in the election.

KOKRAJHAR: A three-day Platinum Jubilee celebration of the No.753 DN Himmatsingkha Lower Primary School, Kokrajhar has entered into second day on Saturday at its school premises. KOKRAJHAR: Citizens in Lower Assam districts including  Bodoland Territorial Council  have expressed happiness and gladness having found resumed of internet services today after eight days blockade. The internet service was found resumed at 9 am that saw smilling and happiness environment amongst the citizens in the region. Earlier, BTC region was made exempted from the disruption of net services from state government on December 10. KOKRAJHAR: Police arrested five protesters in Kokrajhar on Wednesday who burnt effigies of chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019. Activists and members from All Assam Nath Yogi Students Union carried out a protest demonstration along the JD Road near District Computer centre in Kokrajhar against the CAB bill and burnt effigies of Sonowal and Sarma. KOKRAJHAR: Normal life was paralised  in four districts of Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) region on Tuesday due to 11-hour north east bandh called to put protest against the controversial Citizenship (Amendment) Bill which was tabled in Lok Sabha on Monday amidst strong oppossed from different corner. KOKRAJHAR: The ruling partner in the state alliance government, the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has said that the their party is going to participate in the ensuing 2020 BTC general elections. Speaking the reporters at Kokrajhar Press Club on Sunday, AGP leader Subir Chakraborty told that his party was fully prepared to contest the council elections due in March-April 2020 under the alliance spirits of BJP-BPF-AGP in the state. He said that seat sharing discussion will be finalised in due time and party is getting several seats.
