Campaigning gets momentum in Kokrajhar west LAC

The electioneering campaign wave to the second phase assembly election slated to be held on April 11 has been seen more gaining momentum among citizens and voters in the lower Assam constituencies including 29-Kokrajhar west constituency in Kokrajhar district.

Various parties and organisations including BPF,UPP,AIUDF have been campaigning in support of their candidates appealing common voters to vote for their party candidates at different places in the region, ahead few days to the scheduled assembly elections.

BPF candidate for 29-Kokrajhar west LAC Rabiram Narzary hold his election campaign at Kurshakati,Tulsibil area on Monday where huge party member and supporters thronged in the constituency.

Narzary addressed an well attended campaign meeting at Kurshakati ground near Bhawraguri said that his party has been contesting in 13 constituencies of the BTAD and supporting BJP outside of BTAD area. He said that irrespective of caste, creed and communities are supporting the BPF candidates in the region, so winning of the candidates in all contesting seats are sure in the upcoming election. He said that BPF party was working to the all round welfare and integration among all sections of communities. He has claimed that the BPF party is forming government with alliance BJP at Dispur with winning in all contesting seats in the region. He has appealed to all sections of communities to vote for him in the election to gaining more development and social uplift.

‘The peoples of the region as well across the state has been voting to the BPF-BJP alliance party to meet change social uplift and unity in the state’, Narzary expressing his hopeful adding said that this time BPF party would be gained more developmental spirits across the region through which common citizens would be benefitted in building healthy welfare among society. Girindra Chandra Roy, Dhaneswar Brahma, BPF leaders, were among others present on the campaigning meeting.

UPP president and party candidate for Kokrajhar west Urkhao Gwra Brahma has also hold his campaign at various places in support of his candidature in the constituency.

Brahma said that his party has been contesting in 14 seats of the region and extending support to the alliance partner Congress party outside of BTAD in the election.He has claimed that his party is winning in large number of seats and government would be formed at Dispur,no doubt alliance with Congress party .

Menwhile, the All Assam Bengali Youth Students Federation,BTC zonal committee has extended direct support to the BPF party to the scheduled assembly election. Gopal Ghosh,president of BTC zonal committee of the   federation told that the federation has decided to support BPF party as party has been working for the all round welfare of the different communities since its inception.He has appealed to all Bengali community to vote for the BPF party candidates in the assembly election.

‘We have been extending support directly to BPF candidates in all LACs in the region to gain more developmental spirits among irrespective of communities as Hagrama Mohilary led BPF party was working to the peoples’ oriented integration and unity’, Ghosh said.

KOKRAJHAR: Citizens in Lower Assam districts including  Bodoland Territorial Council  have expressed happiness and gladness having found resumed of internet services today after eight days blockade. The internet service was found resumed at 9 am that saw smilling and happiness environment amongst the citizens in the region. Earlier, BTC region was made exempted from the disruption of net services from state government on December 10. Activists and members from All Assam Nath Yogi Students Union carried out a protest demonstration along the JD Road near District Computer centre in Kokrajhar against the CAB bill and burnt effigies of Sonowal and Sarma. KOKRAJHAR: The ruling partner in the state alliance government, the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has said that the their party is going to participate in the ensuing 2020 BTC general elections.
