Acharya Shri Mahashraman eyes peace and unity

Shantidoot Acharya Shri Mahashraman, chief of Jainism has clarion called of peace and unity among society is the only to keep sustainable of development and people’s welfare in the world.

Acharya Shri Mahashraman, who has footstepped along with his followers and sadhus in Kokrajhar, heart administration of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in lower Assam, on his part of ‘Ahinsa Yatra’ to spread  peace messages among humans in the world. Acharya stepped in Assam for the first time ever in its Jainism on March 24 through Srirampur of Kokrajhar district after entering West Bengal. Acharya said that building of peace and unity is the prime aim of the Ahinsa Yatra. Peoples’ should keep alive of peace and integrity among human society,Acharya said.  

The Assam State Mahashraman Swagat Samaroh has organized a grand occasion to make warm welcome to Guruji and his followers at Rashmela ground in Kokrajhar on Tuesday where over five thousand devotees and well-wishers’ thronged the occasion from various state and host Assam and worshipped to Guruji on his foot step in Assam,which was started from Rajasthan, organized by  Jain Sethamber Teraponthi Samiti.

Kampa Borgoyary,Deputy chief of BTC graced the occasion as chief guest and praised his holy step in Bodoland region through which ray of peace among society would be explored. Borgoyary, on behalf of BTC administration expressed solidarity and thanked to all organizers to making a grand occasion to build a healthy integration and peace in the region among various communities.

 A prayer session and cultural presentation was also presented on the occasion.Acharya said that he and his followers has been organizing Ahinsa Yatra to make healthy peace and integration among human society in the world. The Ahinsa Yatra team has so far completed 15,000 kilometer walking beginning from Rajasthan via Red Port of New Delhi.

Sanju Badani, Priyanka Nahata,devotees and organiser of the occasion said, ‘We are very fortunate to give warm welcome to Acharjya Mahashraman in Kokrajhar of BTC on his part of Ahinsa Yatra,heading to Assam state and several states of Northeastern India. It is a Yatra to creating peace and harmony among humanity across the world, so Guruji has been travelling to spread messages of peace and integrity.It is the first time travelling in Assam state from Jainism Guruji in its religious, which has been keeping believers on bond of love and affection among human living. Let, it be brought of peace and unity in the region through the footsteps of Guruji in BTC area, besides getting  a healthy living and fulfillment of spiritual integrated,they said.

Bimal Nahata,president and Dilip Sethia, secretary of Assam State Mahashraman Swagat Samaroh  told that we have got opportunity to offer worship of Guruji in our native place in BTC of Assam state during his Ahinsa Yatra mission. It is our lucky enough to organize a grand occasion on the auspicious presence of huge thronged of devotees from various states of the country and host Assam. This is a mission of building peace and integration across the world.

‘The yatra,which has been stressing to building peace as well welfare among various communities in the world would be encouraged to gain more integration in days to coming in the region’,the organisers said.
