ABSU president launches UPP campaign at Kalaigaon

ABSU president Pramod Boro launched UPP Assembly election campaign at Kalaigaon in favour of its candidate Babulal Basumatari.Addressing a huge election rally at Kalaigaon College playground at 11 amABSU supremo strongly criticised money oriented politics of BPF and BJP.Speaking before a gathering of more than eight thousand people he remarked that Hagrama Mahilari had been dreaming a utopian dream of ruling Assam for next five years,thinking money could purchase anything.It was interesting to see large number of people belonging to religious minority attending UPP rally at Kalaigaon.Boro requested all to support UPP for bringging a change to degraded political scenerio of Assam.Later talking to media, Pramod Boro said that by giving support to Mahavir Jain and sudden withdrawal at the end had been a drama only. Hagrama very well knew that their RS candidate Jain could never win.Fearing impact of RS defeat in the ensuing Assembly poll,BPF had decided to stage the drama to mislead common people.UPP candidate in 65 Kalaigaon LAC,Babul Basumatari later inaugurated party election office at Kalaigaon before filing his nomination paper before the Returning Officer at Mangaldai.On the otherhand Brajen Mahanta of “Sanmilit Janogosthiya Eikyamanch” also filed his nomination paper in 65 Kalaigaon LAC at Mangaldai.
