Election campaigns fever grows up

Election fever grew up ahead few days of scheduled Assam assembly election among various parties like regional, national in the state including BPF, UPP, AGP, AIUDF, Congress, BJP.

BPF president Hagrama Mohilary, who is also BTC chief campaigned for party candidate Banendra Mushahary from Gauripur LAC at Debitala High School ground in a chartered Helicopter. 

Mohilary was accompanied with Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary, addressed the well attended election rally said that his party has been fielding 16 constituencies all over the BTAD region. He has been claiming of that his party is winning I  large number of contesting seats without any hesitation, because common citizens are supporting the party with heart. 

'BPF ruled BTC administration was working to the deep welfare of the common masses since it's inception and it would be continued in days to coming', Mohilary said. 

He said that this time BPF has pact with BJP in the election to meet more development as well sustaining of more packages to the council to the greater interest of citizen's welfare.  He also promised of that BTC administration has been stressing to gain more infrasteuctural spirits in the region with priorities of educational uplift, road communication and social integration. 

BPF candidate for Kokrajhar west Rabiram Narzary hold his election campaign at Serfanguri Kuntaibari. He has appealed to vote for his candidature to make last laugh from the constituency. 

Former Rajya Sabha MP and UPP president Urkhao Gwra Brahma, who is also UPP candidate from Kokrajhar west hold his election campaign at Dotma Bhutiapara. 

He said that his party is contesting the election to pave way good governance and social integration in the region. 

'Bringing of social uplift among society is the prime aspect of the party to create healthy integration', Brahma said. 

He has claimed that his candidature is winning from the constituency because irrespective of cast, creed and languages are supporting UPP party in the region.

Hospital wall kills boy

A seven-years-old boy was succumbed to hospital following wall collapsed at Ghoskata Korida Madati sub-centre today in Kokrajhar district. According to family source, the boy identified as Bhim Brahma, son  of Bircharan Brahma of Korida Madati village was received serious injuries following wall collapsed along the newly constructed wall at Korida Madati sub-centre  this afternoon around 1 pm when he was playing with his friends. NDFB(S) cadre killed

Two hard core cadre of the National Democratic Front of Boroland-Songbijit faction (NDFB-S) were killed in an encounter with security forces on Sunday at North Auzarguri under Serfanguri police station in a joint operation launched by police and army in Kokrajhar district.  Based on a tip-off about presence of militant outfits, security forces launched a joint operation against militant cadres where heavy exchange of fire was held and two cadres were killed on the spot by around 6 am in the morning.  They were identified as Jwngswrang Basumatary alias Ladai and Sanjib Basumatary. Link man arrested

Security forces from Police and Army nabbed a link man of NDFB-Songbijit faction in a joint operation from Mainaguri under Serfanguri PS in Kokrajhar district on Saturday.  The link man was identified as Ila Narzary of Belgudi village. Health camp at Saralpara

A total of 640 patients from greater Saralpara thronged the medical and awareness camp to receive medical check-up on Saturday along the Indo-Bhutan border of Kokrajhar district, was organized by Army unit of Red Horns Division. NSLA cadre arrested

Security forces belonging to police and army apprehended a senior cadre of National Santhali Liberation Army (NSLA) in a joint operation launched today at Shiyalmari area under Serfanguri police station in Kokrajhar. The arrested cadre was identified as Enverest Tudu alias Jambua of Srirampur. He was involved with extortion,terrorist activites in the region. BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary has claimed that the alliance BPF-BJP would defeat the ruling Congress party in the upcoimng election. Mohilary while speaking the Bodoland Day celebrtaion in Kokrajhar on Wednesday said, ‘BPF with BJP’s help, BTAD will witness lots of development activities if the Centre blinks.
