Breakaway BJP to fight polls, announces candidates

Amid an escalating protest inside BJP, a few party leaders has floated Trinamul BJP much to the utter disappointment of the saffron party leadership in the run up to the assembly polls slated for April 4, and 11. 

Disclosing this at a press conference in Golaghat on Friday, Trinamul BJP convener Biswajeet Phukan said taking the grassroot level workers' into confidence, they have floated the new party which would contest the polls. 

Flanked by other conveners Bubul Dutta, Rebakanta Gogoi, Anup Kumar Baruah, Dinesh Bhelberia, Janadarn Hazarika, Phukan said that BJP has been failing to keep the promises where the common people have been bearing the brunt.
