No financial anomalies at Tangla College

Tangla College management headed by the Principal Dr. Prasen Daimari organized  a press meet at the college premises on Saturday to clarify on news stories corruption in teh college.  Speaking to media persons Daimari said that some student bodies have published news in a section of print and electronic media alleging the college authorities of favouritism and discrimination in selecting candidates for vacant posts in the college. The student bodies have also alleged of financial anomalies in the college funds. The Principal said that they have 75% reservation for ST in posts as per rule of the 6th schedule of the BTC. Moreover he denied any kind of financial anomalies or misfunding in the college fund. Tangla College which has a glorious past was accredited with B grade by NAAC in the year 2004.
