BTC EM inaugurates new school complex building at Tangla

The new school premise building of Arunodoi Academy, one of the leading private sector school of Udalguri district was formally inaugurated at Tangla town on March 2 .Jagadish Sarkar, EM,BTC formally inaugurated the new school complex building at 11 am in presence of more than a thousand students,teachers and guardians.On the occasion BTC EM Sarkar thanked students of Arunodoi Academy and Arunodoi Junior College for showing hundred percent pass results in both HSLC and HSSLC examinations for last couple of years. He also thanked teachers and students of both the schools for taking keen interest in promoting science and technological activities in the district for last decade. He also mentioned that an amount of rupees one crore had already been sanctioned to Tangla HS School and another amount of rupees fifteen lakhs for Arunodoi Academy for infrastrucural development.He advised teachers and guardians of provincialized schools to follow good activities of private sector schools. Earlier Pranabjyoti Das, Principal, Arunodoi Junior College,Tangla welcomed all distinguished guests before felicitating them with gamochas. Jayanta Das, President,Udalguri District Journalists' Union attending the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest thanked teachers and students of Arunodoi Academy (which was established in 2006) for showing excellent science and technological activities besides good academic results. He requested all to inspire students to learn basic knowledge of local problem with special reference to flora and fauna.The inaugural ceremony was attended by several distinguished people including-DN Hazarika,SDO(S),Udalguri;Tarini Ch Chaliha, former vice principal of Tangla HSS; Bhupendra Rabha, principal,Tangla HSS;Bhargab Kumar Das, president Mangaldai Media Circle;Mrigen Das,Manager,CBI,Tangla and noted social worker and educationist Binoy Kumar Medhi. Spectacular cultural events were presented by students to much delight of people present.Napolean Daimari, Principal, Arunodoi Academy offered vote of thanks at the end.
