Tangla youth killed in Uttar Pradesh

In yet another incident of violence on NE people a youth of state was brutually killed by miscreants at Bhatni station of Uttar Pradeshon on night of February 21 at about 9 in the morning. The deceased Ramen Boro (35), son of Langhidhar Boro of Malmura village, Tangla was working in Mumbai. He boarded a home bound train on February 20 when he was brutually killed by miscreants at Bhatni station in Uttar Pradesh.

Ramen had left for Mumbai three months back to work in a private firm. Ramen was in touch with his family member untill an hour back of the incident. Railway Police of Bhatni Railway station informed the friends and family members of the victim with Ramen's mobile.

The incident has raised the question about the much vaunted improved law and order situation in North India and crimes of hatred on NE people.

UDALGURI: The Indo-Bhutan border villages in Udalguri district-region fraught with human-animal conflict and bloodshed and continue to witness brutality of wild jumbos.  In yet another incident, one Mardia Munda (25), a tea garden labour , was trampled to death by wild jumbos at Nalanadi under Dimakuchi PS in Udalguri district on Wednesday.Reportedly, the labour was on his way back home after plucking green leaves when he was confronted by wild jumbo trampling him to death. TANGLA: The Tangla Police,solving the kidnapping case of a minor girl who was missing since June 27 last,apprehended four persons and rescued the minor girl on Sunday.
