Health camp for lady journalists at press club

On the eve of International Women’s Day (8th March), the city based Dispur Hospital has organized a health camp exclusively for lady journalists and better halves of scribes on 8th March 2016 (Monday) at Guwahati Press Club. The camp, to be conducted by only female doctors, lady assistants and nurses, will begin at 11 am and conclude by 2 pm.

Acknowledging the contributions of women to the society and also pledging for a global gender parity, the International Women’s Day is observed globally. The auspicious day encourages women to get together, support each other and learn from each other. To commemorate the day with a meaningful exercise, Assam’s well known Dispur Hospitals Private Limited under the leadership of Dr Jayanta Bardoloi has taken the noble initiative in association with Guwahati Press Club. Dr Bardoloi also informed that the participating media persons will get the opportunity for general health check-up with hemoglobin & thyroid tests in the camp.
