Hagrama files defamation case against AIUDF MLA

BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary,who is also president of Bodoland Peoples Front(BPF) party files a defamation case against Abdur Rahim Khan,MLA of All India Democratic Front(AIUDF) of  No.43 Barpeta constituency of Assam  today at Chief Judicial Magistrate Court,Kokrajhar demanding strong punishment to Khan.

Mohilary demanding strong punishment to Khan,MLA from AIUDF party files defamation with CJM court in Kokrajhar district of Assam,which was case registered with court 142/2016,under/section(u/s) 499/500/501/502 of the India Penal code(IPC),1860. Khan had commented defamtory words on Mohilary on February 1 last terming that Mohilary belonged to terrorist of blood,killer, BPF is terrorist party.

Mohilary after filling defamation said, “I, today filed a defamation case against Abdur Rahim Khan,MLA of  Barpeta  constituency of AIUDF  party ,who had commented me as killer on February 1 last. I seeking early punishment to Khan , moved to court so that I can get justice.Khan should be given punishment.Khan should give proof over his allegation I was belonged to killer”.

Anand Bhuyan,advocate said, “Hagrma Mohilary file defamation case against Khan for his remarks of that Mohilary  belonged to terrorist of blood,killer, BPF is terrorist party.Defamation case was filed against Khan who had kept defamatory words and falls allegation on Mohilary. Law will take its cours".

Former minister, MLA and vice president of BPF party Chandan Brahma said that Mohilary seeking legal action on Khan filed defamation case in the court. MLA Khan should be face of punishment for his allegations levelled on Mohilary, Brahma added.
