Pramod Chandra Brahma literary award for Dr Kameswar Brahma

Padmashri (Dr) Kameswar Brahma, president of  Bodo Sahitya Sabha(BSS) has been named for the Pramod Chandra Brahma Literary Award, 2016 instituted by BTC education department.

Brahma has been named for the award for his relentless contribution towards development of literary in his life long. Brahma born at Bhumka village under Gossaigaon subdivision of Kokrajhar district has authored many books and research works on Bodo and tribal cultures.

The award carries 2 lakh, momento and a citation which would be confered on Bodoland Day celebration on February 10.
