Fire and evacuation mock drill

The Fire and Emergency Service stations of Tangla, Khoirabari and Udalguri in collaboration with Pherenga Dao a NGO based in Tangla had carried out Mock drill to deal with Fire and Natural disasters. Mock drills were conducted at Udalguri Higher Secondary school on 25 Jan,Tangla Higher Secondary School on 29 Jan and at UN Academy Khoirabari on 29 Jan. Representing Pherenga Dao NGO Binoy Sarma Secretary of the organization leaded all the mock drill in association of District Disaster Management Authority Udalguri. It may be mentioned that Pherenga Dao with the help of Tangla Town Committee had built up Night Shelter Home at Tangla for the poor and homeless people. The NGO have also helped in treatment of persons with Disability in the town besides organising seminars on Drug abuse,Child trafficking in the town.
