Bolen Boro new priest

Deacon Bolen Boro of Barama Parish of Baksa district will be ordained as priest on January 9 by Bishop of Bongaigoan Diocese Thomas Pulloppillil. 

The solemn celebration would be taken place at Catholic Church of Barama in Baksa district. Deacon Bolen Boro will be the first to be ordained as a priest from Catholic Parish of Barama, of Christ's one Holly Catholic and Apostolic church for the Diocese of Bongaigoan. He is the fifth son of the family of Bakul Ramchiary and late Mongli Ramchiary, who migrated from Gwramakha village of Baksa district in the year 1986. Boro, finished his matriculation from Barimakha High School of Baksa district from Modo medium and completed his HS and Graduation from Barama College. He joined seminary the preparatory training centre to be a priest after completing his graduation. Now, he completed the theological studies after being anointed as a deacon and will be ordained as a priest.

A reception committee has been formed for the successful celebration of the ceremony. All prayers and presence are requested to attend the function, Khrwmshar Basumatary, president, Barama Parish Catholic Parents Committee informed.
