Gifts to old age person, orphans
In order to make good relation and co-ordination with the citizens, the 16th Battalion(Bn) of Sasastra Seema Bal(SSB),Ranighuli distributed blankets,study materials whihch included books,pen,sports items among old aged persons and orphan children of Alayaran , orphanage Kokrajhar in the presence of high guests of Bhutanese counter part on Saturday in Kokrajhar.
The SSB unit based at Ranighuli organized a cultural programme to mark the new year celebration among old aged person,orphans in the region where Mrs Verma, madam DIG distributed needy materials among old aged person and orphans.
Tsering Dorji, SP Gelephu,Bhutan graced the function as guest and shared relationship between Indo-Bhutan in both countries.
Dorji, in his speech said that both country have been a good relation while maitaining border relationship and so far friendship working in all aspects are keeping in healthy manner.He said that both country’s border residents are leading good communication and securities arrangements have also in good connected.
Amit Kumar, DIG SSB,Kokrajhar sector said that battalion’s unit is succeeding by winning the heart and mind of the people bordering area,besides getting organising good number of social touch function and civic action programmes. Along the border areas,now the people are living their life with a sense of security and brotherhood in their mind. The battalion unit marking the new year celebration distributed needy materials to old aged person and orphans of Alayaran Orphanage which encourage them to live in happy and peaceful manner among society.
