Chennai Magh Bihu 2016

Assam Association Chennai is organising a  "Get-Together" to celebrate "Magh Bihu" on January 15, 2016 at "Blue-Lagoon" beach resort, Neelankarai, ECR Road, Chennai.  The event will start at 3 PM with various games & fun play including "Rosi Tona", "Koloh Bhonga" Etc. Along with various cultural program there will be also a "Quiz"  competition and "Laru-Pitha" competition and buffet dinner.

The Assam Association Chennai is organizing this year's Rongali Bihu festival in Chennai on April 18 at Central Leather Research Institute campus, Adyar. All Assamese community people staying in Chennai will be together to showcase the Assamese tradition on this day. Bokakhat venue for BCCI jr tourney

No affiliation for Jorhat and Barpeta medical colleges

Medical council of India cancels affiliation of Jorhat Medical College and Barpeta Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical college & Hospital for lack of proper infrastructure & Faculity. IITG among top universities
