Adil Hakim of Australia (in picture) won the boys singles title in the Indian Oil ITF World Junior Ranking Tennis championship at the Chachal Tennis complex on Friday. In the final Hakim beat Lewicki Filip of Poland in straight set 6-4,6-1.In the girls section the final was also an one sided affair and Angelika Aliev of Israel won the title clash defeating Sevil Alieva of Azarbaijan in straight set 6-4,6-2.Meanwhile Poland pair Stefaniak Piotr and Majchrowicz Adam emerged champion in the boys doubles event while Starkova Valentina (Kaz) and Alieva Sevil (Aza) won the girls title.
A dream run in the Indian Oil ITF World Junior Ranking Tennis Championship finally came to an end for Kaushik Das as he today lost the boys singles semi final against Lewicki Filip of Poland at the Chachal tennis court on Thursday. Violinist Sunita Bhuyan performed at the Hindustani music evening of Celebrate Bandra on 24th of November at the Carter Road Promenade, Mumbai. Sunita performed to a packed audience starting with Raag Hangswasdhani followed by Bharat Darshan in Raag Mishra Desh.
