Raha TET teachers stage sit in protest

The TET teachers here today staged a three hour-long sit in protest in front of the Block Elementary Education Office, Kapili Bock, Raha demanding resolution to various issues faced by TET qualified teachers. The sit-in protest started from 11 am under the aegis of Kapili Block  Primary TET Passed Teachers'  Association.

The demands raised by the teachers  include working on contract basis should be allowed to work till 60 years of age and graduate teachers should be paid in graduate scale. Apart from it,the salary should be paid on the basis of ROP.  The protest concluded with the handing over of a memorandum to the chief minister through the Block Officer, Kapili Block ,Raha.
