Timber seized

SSB 16th Battalion seized a tractor loaded with 69 piece of gamari logs  from Balajhar area near Janata bazar, bordering Bhutan, in Chirang district on Tuesday. The seized logs is stated to be worth around 8 lakhs ruppes.

Seven persons were arreated in this connection. They have identified as Manwar hussain(22), Mamnal Mak (23), Abdul Barik Ali (25),  Md Abasuddin(25),  Lalson Ali(30), Abdul Aziz(37) and Niren Basumatary(38). The seized materials and the arrested persons were handed over to concern department at Kajalgaon in the district headquarter today.
