Women empowerment workshop at Nagrijuli
A women empowerment workshop was organized at Nagrijuli of Baksa district today to create awareness about uplift of women among society.
Hudreds of educated women from various parts of the area participated in the workshop, was organised by Nagrijuli anchalik committee of All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) and chaired by Phukan Boro, president Nagrijuli anchalik ABSU.
Rangina Bargayary,debate secretary of ABSU inaugurated the workshop highlighting the needy of empowerment of owmen society said that the women should also comeforward to build a healthy society. She has also said that the students union has been working to the welfare of the social uplift as well womens’ empowerment.
Kwrwmdao Wary, secretary ABSU, Mainao Basumatary, cultural secretary of North Kokrajhar anchalik ABSU attended among others on the occasion.
