Chandigarh unit ABSU formed
In a expansion of wide area across the country, the Chandigarh unit committee of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) was formed on Tuesday in the presence of Promod Boro, president ABSU (central committee) and Saranjay Brahma, adviser Delhi unit ABSU at a meeting held in Chandigarh city where Bodo students participated from various colleges and universities that are taking higher education.There are more than 300 Bodo students are studying around Chandigarh city on various streams for their higher careers.
The Channdigarh unit ABSU was formed with Ringu Basumatary( Udalguri) as president, Nimrod Mochahary (Chirang) and Babul Basumatary (Karbi Anglong) as vice presidents; Arjun Basumatary(Udalguri) as general secretary, Pinual Daimary (Udalguri), Raju Basumatary (Baksa), Dhanjitha (Chirang), Aron Daimary (Udalguri) and Julee swargiary (Baksa) are assistant general secretaries. Public Relation Secretaries are Jashmita Basumatary (Udalguri) Udaisho Ramchiary(Baksa), Swmkhwr Boro (Udalguri),Bibilion Swmpramary ( Donitpur), Pungkha Narzary (Chirang) and Princy Basumatary ( Baksa) are selected for speaker and deputy speaker. Swghwmshar Basumatary ( Udalguri) and Rwisumwi Basumatary (Udalguri) are cultural secretary and assistant cultural secretary, Bhumswrang Basumatary (Udalguri) and Bodosha Basumatay ( Chirang) are literary secretary and assistant literary secretary, Karna Basumatary (Baksa) and Anuk Basumatary ( Baksa) as sports secretary and assistant sports secretary, Lakhiram Basumatary ( Golaghat) as debating secretary, Gwmdhwn Basumatary ( Udalguri) as treasurer, Hari Goyari (Lakhimpur) and Josodha Brahma (Kokrajhar) as education secretary and assistant education secretary while Saranjoy Brahma ( Delhi) and Josuah Narzary were hold advisers.
The newly formed Chandigarh unit ABSU members took oath of office and secrecy towards works of social uplifting.
