Kaziranga National Park is now open for  visitors. Forest Minister Atuwa Munda and Parliamenty Secretary Arun Phukan were present in a open ceremoney on Sunday morning.

Racial attack revisits in Delhi

But nobody is named as accused. The north east people in the capital demand immediate exemplary punishment for the racist attack.

Lachit diwas organised in Pune

Lachit Divas Samaroh was organized by Lachit Borphukan Shaurya Gaurav Samiti at Pune on Thursday. Lachit Divas is organised to remember the great commander and Borphukan in the Ahom kingdom Lachit Borphukan known for his leadership in the 1671 Battle of Saraighat that thwarted a drawn-out attempt by Mughal forces under the command of Ramsingh to take back Kamrup.

Tezpur Medical College opened

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has formally opened the Tezpur Medical College on Thursday for public. The 6th Medical college in Assam,  will be visited by Medical Council of India shortly for inspection for admission in 1st year MBBS course for the academic year 2014-15.

Road mishap at Bokakhat: 2 dead

Two persons Debojit Nath and Babul Chetia died in a road accident near Bokakhat Methoni tea garden when a truck collided with their 108 Mrityunjay van. Both died on the spot.  Both were employee of 108 Mrityunjay service.

CEE result

Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2013 result will declared on Thursday for admission in MBBS/BDS/BE/BTech courses for academic year 2013-14. This year's Assam CEE examination is conducted by Dibrugarh University (DU). Result will available online at www.ceemedu.org, www.dibru.ac.in.

HSLC & HS results on May 17, 20

Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) will declare result of HSLC on May 17 & HS (Arts, Commerce & Science) on May 20. This year around 3.4 Lakh students appears in HSLC Exam. Results will be available online at resultsassam.nic.in and seba.net.in. 

Meghalaya HSSLC result on 4th May

Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) will announce the results of the HSSLC (Science, Commerce & Vocational) Examination, 2013 May 4. Result will also be available on Internet at www.mbose.in.
