Clean India campaign at Kokrajhar

A cleanliness drive was organised at Tilapara area by Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) fron 16th battalion(Bn) based at Ranighuli under civic action programme on Sunday in Kokrajhar.

The drive was started from early morning in the surrounding area of Tilapara market and adjoining schools campus area covering around 1 km from battalion head headquarter Ranighuli.

The personnel including officers, sub-ordinate officers and jawans of the battalion contributed their noble cause and with the help of local people, the surrounding market area. The bushes along roadside and the school campus was cleaned where school children also contributed their helping hand for accomplishing the goal of clean India campaign.

Dr Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, assistant commandant of Medical (Asstt. Comdt) participated the drive and addressed the local people about the importance of hygienic and sanitation. Dr. Shekhawat further said that such kind of noble cause demands the contribution from each and every persons, it will not only make their life healthy and disease free but also it will motivate their coming generation to live in a healthy and clean environment.

Sornab Ali,Chairman (VDP) and other prominent members of nearby villages were also present among others in the cleanliness drive.
