Writers’ event in Guwahati on Oct 24

The North East Writers’ Forum, Zubaan and the Heinrich Boell Foundation have jointly announced the 2015 edition of Zubaan’s Cultures of Peace to focus the North East.

This year’s event will take place in Guwahati, Bangalore and New Delhi. To be supported by the Heinrich Boell Foundation, the event in Guwahati will take place on October 24 at the Gauhati Town Club.

Arzuman Ara, Meenaxi Barkataki-Ruscheweyh, Surajit Barooah, Monalisa Changkija, Bibash Chaudhury, HN Das, Srutimala Duara, Arup Kumar Dutta, Uddipana Goswami, Mitra Phukan, Teresa Rehman, L Somi Roy, Anuradha Sharma Pujari, Ananya Shankar Guha and Bijoy T Singh will be among the participating writers.
