A soon to be organized round table conference in Guwahati is expected to help both Assam and Nagaland resume the age old bonhomie between the two north eastern states.
At least 12 civil society organizations from both the states have confirmed their participation in the event organized by a non governmental organization at the Indian Institute of Bank Management in Khanapara on October 9. Veteran Naga social activist Niketa Iralu will head the six Naga civil society organizations while author, educationist and retired Dibrugarh University teacher Dr Udayan Mishra will head their Assam counterparts.
Asom Sahitya Sabha president Dr Dhrubajyoti Bora, AASU adviser Dr Samujjjal Bhattacharya will also attend the conference.
