Maoist leader held in Golaghat
Police claimed to have caught a dreaded Maoist leader who has been trying to expand the base for the last couple of years.
Identified as Aditya Bora he was arrested by Golaghat police on Wednesday evening.
According to police, he was arrested during a combing operation on Wednesday night led by additional SP Numal Mahato at Khakondguri area near Dergaon.
Aditya Bora was caught along with his two of his associates Uttam Hazarika and Binando Bora. Police recovered one 9mm pistol, 12rounds of live cartridges and some other particles from their possession.

The Golaghat district administration on Tuesday asked the tea garden managements to clear the bonus to the workers by October 5. Deputy Commissioner Anarul Haque on Tuesday issued the order after a meeting with the various tea group owners.
