World Tourism day at Raimana

The Jwngthi Mati NGO, Gossaigaon observed World Tourism day on Sunday in association with BTC tourism department at Raimana in Kokrajhar district with day long programme scheduled. 

An awareness meeting with local publics in the area was held to discuss about preserving natural beauty Pepsu and Jomduar along the Indo-Bhutan international border under Gossaigaon subdivision of Kokrajhar district. 

Panchanan Narzary, secretary of the NGO, who is working for the preserving of natural beauty and attractions said that the nature tells the truth of beauty and so to strengthen the ecological benefit, the tourism is one of the scope to explore the sustainable living inctge region. He said that the world tourism day  with this aim  was observed with intention to preserve the beauty of nature at Raimana in Gossaigaon by the NGO which  has been working for promoting Pepsu and Jomduar as attractive tourism spot in the World. The NGO  will continue its working  for preservation of  nature and tourism in the region, Narzary added.
