Arrest in extortion

The Golaghat police arrested a youth in connection with extortion case in in Sarupather on Sunday.

Identified as Gopal Orang, he was picked up from Duckenhengera near Kothiatoli after he demanded Rs 5 lakh from a govt employee Lakhi Orang in the name of NDFB(S).

His name figured when Sarupathar police arrested an AANLA militant Mahesh Orang in extortion charges a few days back.
