Gogoi takes on BJP MPs

Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Tuesday dared state BJP MPs to face prime minister on the vital problems confronting the state for years. Talking to reporters in the sidelines of a function at the Raj Bhawan, Gogoi said that the BJP leaders in the state are not brave to apprise Narendra Modi of the real problems besetting the state and its people.

Gogoi further rubbished the allegations of the central fund misappropriation. “The Central funds are meant for a specified purpose. How can I diver the fund. These allegations are baseless,” said the chief minister.
