Student rescued in Chirang

Chirang police have rescued a student two days after he was kidnapped by miscreants from Mazabari area who were caught on Thursday. 

According to police, identified as Saidul Islam, he was kidnapped by unknown persons and rescued him from Mazabari area near Shyamtaibari under Sidli police station of Chirang district. 

The arrested persons were identified as Monohar Basumatary and Neemko Basumatary. A pistol and two live bullet recovered from their possession.
