Fresh hope for BTC transport
BTC transport buses are preparing to expand its area of operation to West Bengal and Meghalaya.
BTC executive member Jagadish Sarkar told reporters when he attended the 8th foundation of the Bodoland Transport Services at Dial Gaon in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.
He claimed that the BTC transport service has earned Rs 80 crore revenue per year. “We have been able to earn approximately Rs 82,000 per day against which expenditure including the cost of diesel Rs 51,685 and average profit of Rs 30314 per day”.
Among those who attended the programme includes BTC executive member Dhaneswar Goyary, BTC Secretary in-charge of Bodoland Transport Services Dinesh Boro, attended the programme.
