Rescue missing driver duo

Local residents thronged in thousands in front of Mancachar police station demanding a vigorous operation to rescue the two drivers who are suspected to have been kidnapped by GNLA militants.

A huge crowd of people halted in front of the police station on Sunday afternoon demanding that the drivers namely Akidul Islam and Bilu Miyan must be rescued apart from the arrest of the culprits involved in it.

The duo went missing on Saturday evening from the neighbouring Meghalaya. At least 20 people were kidnapped and a few others were killed in the entire area along the Assam-Meghalaya inter state border.
