More trouble for Boko MLA

More trouble awaits Gopinath Das who is absconding after police registered a rape case against the Boko AIUDF MLA.A child right protection organization has written to Assam Assembly Speaker Pranab Kumar Gogoi for his immediate disqualification for keeping minor girls as his domestic help.

Speaker Gogoi is likely to step in very soon. The organization demands his disqualification three days after police rescued yet another minor domestic help from his house in Guwahati.

The Boko MLA is waiting for Gauhati High Court’s breather when it would hear his anticipatory bail plea on Monday. Das allegedly raped his minor domestic help inside his car forcing her to move police demanding justice. Under mounting protest from the local residents police registered the case and have been carrying operations in many places in search of the MLA on the run.
