AGP protest rally on Sep 19

The opposition Asom Gana Parishad will hold protest rally on September 19 opposing the Centre’s move to give refugee status to the non Muslim Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals in India.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Saturday, party president Atul Bora said the party leaders and workers will stage sit in demonstration on September 16 in all districts.

Bora said,”we cannot bear the burden of 2 lakh Bangladeshi immigrants. We won’t allow it to happen.”
