KMSS leaders and workers are on 36 hour hunger strike across the state in protest against the Centre’s recent move for Indian citizenship to all non Muslim Bangladeshi and Pakistani nationals.
Talking to Assam Times, KMSS leaders at Dghalipukhuri said that they won’t allow it to happen in Assam. “We are here. We won’t allow BJP and RSS to make Assam a dumping ground of immigrants only for the voting benefit of Congress and BJP,” said one of the protestor who is participating in the hunger strike at Dighalipukhuri.
Another participants said,”If the decision is not withdrawn immediately we would intensify the agitation across the state.”
