Parts of Manipur start bearing the brunt of landslides, bandhs and blockades by United Naga Council. A fuel crisis is waiting to hit the restive north eastern state when the paralyzing bandh forced many trucks to remain stranded on the way to Imphal on the Imphal-Dimapur National Highway.
The existing stock of petrol will not last more than four days and if these are allowed continue then the state had no way but to grapple with the impending fuel crisis.
Deports, mostly, in Imphal town and adjacent areas have been rationing for the last couple of days suggesting that the fuel crisis is waiting to rerun in the state.
