Arithmetic crisis! No

Arithmetic crisis! No

Congress is not worried at all over the exodus of sitting MLAs. Talking to Assam Times on Saturday, senior party leaders said that the ruling has already roped in at least 30 MLAs to help the government survive the impending constitutional crisis. These MLAs include AUIDF, BPF and AGP.

“We would survive the impending crisis even if 20 sitting MLAs resign. We have number. But we won’t reveal our survival strategy,” a senior party leader told  Assam Times after 9 MLAs  met Amit Shah n New Delhi on Saturday.

The party is prepared to face the early polls. According t APCC sources, the government has asked the state secondary education board to hold the HSLC and HS examination in December in view of the assembly polls.
