Rajkhowa’s clarion call

The Arunachal Pradesh governor JP Rajkhowa urged the youth communities to carry forward the crusade against the growing menace in the north eastern state. In his address at the Solung Festival in Itanagar on Tuesday, Rajkhowa said only the youth fraternity has the strength enough the change the face of the beautiful state.

Terming the land of rising sun as the country’s most beautiful state, he advised the people to document the colourful language, customs and traditions so that age-old heritage can be handed over from generation to generation.

The Solung is the main socio-religious festival of ‘Adis’ community and is a manifestation of the ‘Adis’ festival cult.
