NDFB-S militant held in Runikhata
Security forces captured a hardcore NDFB-S militant in Chirang district on Thursday. Identified as Swmbla Basumatary@ Suhitap, the dreaded NDFB-S militant was held from Runikhata area in the BTAD district.
Police further claimed to have seized several rounds of live bullets from his possession.
'The arrest of finance secretary has jolted strength of the militant outfit', said a senior police officer in BTAD region.
