Flood scene improving gradually

There is some let-up in the overall flood situation following a brief halt of the rains.

The water level of the Brahmaputra and its tributaries stop raising following the halt of rains during the last 24 hours.

The situation in Chirang and Kokrajhar districts also have started improving on Sunday. But the marooned people would have to stay in the relief camps for the next couple of days.
