PIL logjam: Lawyers to meet CJI

 Senior lawyers from the Gauhati High Court will meet the chief justice of India on Sunday to end the ongoing stalemate over the public interest litigation.

The bar council members told reporters on Saturday that the nine member delegation from the high court will formally register protest over the acting chief justice’s move on the public interest litigation which was why, they have not been attending his bench for the last couple of days.
