Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Friday assured Assam of all help to contain the flood scene which worsened following incessant rains affecting more than 3 lakh people in the state.
Talking to Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi over telephone on Friday, the Union home minister him assured all possible assistance from the Centre to help the people in the flood-affected areas of the state.
Gogoi told the Union minister that the various central and state agencies have been carrying out relief and rescue operations.
The flood scene worsened on Friday following incessant rainfall in the catchment areas affecting nearly three lakh people in 13 districts of the state.
