Repeated shoot outs seem to have turned Dimapur into a den of criminals where the safety and security of the common people are at stake. Yet another incident of shoot out sends no less anger and shock in the commercial hub of Nagaland on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Hong Kong Market area where an unidentified gunman shot at a youth in the afternoon. The reason of the attack is yet to be identified.
But the bullets pierced the right of the youth who was standing in front of the market. Amid the deafening din, the gunman managed to escape from the spot before the injured youth was rushed to the hospital.
The shoot out took place at hardly two months after unidentified gunmen shot dead a businessman from Assam for refusing to pay ransom.

The TMC Assam unit has opposed the draft delimitation proposal published by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday evening.
