Dispur police are bracing up for a major trouble if the post mortem report of Victoria Dayoun Kharkongr is any indication. The post mortem report suggests severe assault on the head of the Meghalaya girl saying that her head bore a serious injury mark.
Dispur police claimed to have found her body hanging at the washroom inside the police station in the first week of June. Police detained her acting on a complaint from the International Hospital authorities and the incident took place hours after she was kept inside the lock up.
KMSS leader Akhil Gogoi added no less fuel to the fire alleging that she was repeatedly raped inside the police station to be killed later. Then she was kept hanging inside the washroom to show it a case of suicide. Police authorities later suspended two inspectors alleging negligence of duty.
Initial report suggested it a suicide but it takes new turn after the post mortem report revealed serious head injury.

The Delhi government has agreed to set up a statute of Chaolung Sukapha in the national capital. The assurance came from Delhi Chief minister Sheila Dixit who talked to her Assam counterpart Tarun Gogoi. A series of low intensity blasts has forced the security forces to fan in lower Assam on Sunday. Over 20 people have been injured when a passenger bus slipped into deep gorge in near Guwahati on Saturday.The accident took place at around 2-30 in the afternoon when the passenger bus was on its way to Kamakhya and suddenly it lost control and fell on a gorge where several people were rescued by police and local residents.
