NDFB-S militant held in Chirang

Amid stepped up operation to flush out militants in the run up to the Independence Day, security forces caught a hardcore NDFB-S militant In Chirang district on Saturday.

Identified as Mohendra Chumpramary, the dreaded militant was arrested from Bengtol area in Chirang district during a search operation.

A joint team of security forces belonging to army and police arrested him and seized a 7.65 pistol, magazine and ammunitions from his possession.

Ayush healthcare system to train rural youths

The Ministry of Ayush and the Ministry of Rural Development have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop skilled manpower for the Ayush healthcare system.
