Preserve historical monuments

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has asked chief secretary to set up a panel to formulate a slew of measures to protect and preserve the historical monuments in the state.

According to official sources, Gogoi wants a scientific and systematic action plan for the purpose.
The committee would study all aspects and suggest recommendations leading to repairing, restoring and preserving ancient and historical monuments.
