i want to join Assam Police But there is some problem in case of information about interview so please try to inform me if some interview held by the department thank you.

I am interste to join to assam police , but my luck not faver to me . Last time i am appear the interview and complite my interviw , when result was open then my result is fail . But now i again prepre to join assam police . How can i know the interview date ?

Forest cover in Northeast is declining compared to 2009 assesment, according to the India State of Forest Report released today by Environment Ministry. Decline in Forest cover of the region is particularly due to prevailing practice of shifting cultivation in this region.

Three persons of a family were burnt to death following a gas cylinder explosion in Sonitpur district on Sunday. The gas cylinder exploded on Sunday afternoon at Darwanpatty area in Tezpur town killing a woman, a 15-month-old girl child and a youth while the owner of the house, Ashutosh Ghosh, was severely burnt.
Ghosh's wife Archana Ghosh, daughter and another relative Bapon Ghosh died in the fire while he was admitted to Kanaklata Civil Hospital. Moreover, 6houses were gutted in the fire.
A husband killed his wife before surrendering at a sub divisional magistrate’s court on Saturday.The incident took place in Hojai at around 12 noon when Bhuban Das beheaded his wife Phulmoti Das with a sharp dao inside a tea stall in the court premises. He later surrendered before the court. Both Bhuban and Phulmoti came to the court a few days after Phulmoti registered a case against her husband.
Altogether eight people were killed and several others have been injured at a tragic a road mishap in Nagaon district on Saturday.
The mishap took place when a Tata magic carrying a group of youth Congress activist lost control when the vehicle arrived in Chakarigaon in the district at around 12 noon. Five died on the spot while three succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. The injured activists have been rushed to the hospital.

Stages are set to hoist the Guwahati International Film Festival from Sunday in Guwahati. The event is set to end on February 11. It is expected to provide movie lovers an opportunity to watch critically-acclaimed films from across the globe.
Organizers in Guwahati said that the films from France, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Canada, Norway, Germany, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey and Iran would be screened in the festival being organized in association with the Assam State Film (Finance and Development) Corporation.
The screening would take place at Rabindra Bhawan, Gauhati University, IIT-Guwahati.
