I am interste to join to assam police , but my luck not faver to me . Last time i am appear the interview and complite my interviw , when result was open then my result is fail . But now i again prepre to join assam police . How can i know the interview date ?

Gogoi claims all round development

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said Assam has developed on all fronts. In his address at the anniversary function at Sarusajai function on Saturday, Gogoi said that the state now ranks in third position in the human resources development index. He said the state has set record the food grain production during his regime and that in health, education sectors also the state has changed its face.

The group also triggered a bomb blast in Tinsukia district Friday night killing one person. Amid tight security arrangements, Gandhi, as scheduled, addressed a huge gathering at Sarusojai stadium. The stadium was the venue for the celebrations of the Congress government's first anniversary of its third consecutive term in the state.

Bandh paralyses normal life in Goalpara

Normal life has been paralysed in Goalpara district following a 24-hour Assam *bandh* called today by the All Assam Tribal Sangha to protest against the large-scale deprivation of the SC and ST candidates by the State Governmentin the appointment of school teachers in the name of TET qualification. Youth Shot Dead at Dhupdhara

A 27 years old youth was found dead at Landakhunda village, bordering Assam-Meghalaya, under Dhupdhara police station in Goalpara district early in the morning today. The youth was shot dead by unidentified gunmen as two marks of bullet holes on his chest. The body was found lying on a village road with both of his hands were tightened with his own shirt. Top Maoist leader in NIA remand

National Investigation Agency got remand of Maoist leader Indranil Chandra, alias Ajay Das for seven days after he was produced before a special court in Guwahati on Wednesday. Chandra, who heads Maoist offensive in Assam, was brought to Guwahati from Kolkata where he was recently arrested. He was produced in a NIA designated court in Guwahati and remanded to seven days of NIA custody. Chandra, hailing from Burdwan district of West Bengal, had visited the state several times to coordinate with the local Maoist cadres. He had visited several areas in the state, including lower Assam, and held several meetings.
