Untimely death condoled

Sports directorate employees have expressed deep shock at the untimely demise of coordinating officer Haramohan Kalita on Thursday. Kalita died at his own residence in Panjabari at 7-30 in the morning.
At a meeting at the office premises, his colleagues deeply condoled the death and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.

The TMC Assam unit has opposed the draft delimitation proposal published by the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday evening. The proposal is prepared based on the 2001 census, which the TMC claims is not correct as there has been a change in the population pattern in the state.
