Deputy CO of NDFB(S) killed

Deputy Commanding Officer(CO) of 14th battalion of the NDFB(S) Sijou was killed today at an encounter with security forces at Thersobil Chautara area under Gossaigaon Police Station of Kokrajhar district.

Sijou was a hardcore leader and cadre of 33 batch Myanmaa trained,was killed at an encounter with police this evening by 4.45 pm at Thersobil Chautara under Gossaigaon police station.

The NDFB leader  had rewarded of Rs 5 lakhs and wa involved with killing of seven persons at Balapara in May in 2014 and SI Narayan Barman at Rupsi and killing of Adivashis in Kokrajhar.He was also involved with killing of Gulzar Hussain, Addidtional SP of Sonitpur in January of 2014.

A M-12 pistol,two HE 36 grenades,one magazine,three mobile handsets and 12 rounds of live bullets were recovered his possesion,said BTAD(IGP),LR Bishnoi.
